Air Powder and Rubber Cup Polishing

Today we learned how to air powder and rubber cup polish. It was a disaster! I sprayed Ashley everywhere with water and we somehow managed to spray my entire unit with water, drawers and all. I hated the air powder stuff! It tasted so salty and I even gagged! I don't want to have to use that on my patients - ever! Rubber cup polishing was not a big deal at all. We went through our dental screening PE. I have no idea if I passed or not because I have not been given it back yet. My gut feeling tells me that I failed.
