Miraculous Monday

If you read my last post, you will know that I have been searching high and low for a class three patient. McCall was nice enought to let me schedule a patient that screened on Friday for today because that patient had one quad of a class 3. As I was probing that patient today, I was surprised because I believed at least two quads could be class 3, but I was not positive. Low and behold, when Instructor Demmings came to do an OD check, she declared the patient a class 3!!!! McCall and I were both excited because then we can both finish our class 3 requirements with this patient. I was able to do the OD and scale the UL quad. My patient's gums were very tender and even though she was given anesthetic, she still winced and jumped every time I went Sub-G. Next time she comes in, we will make sure she gets the strong stuff! Anyways, I was able to pass off two PEs leaving me with just one more PE to pass off. I can't believe the semester is almost over! I am so ready for summer!
